Walter unveils DB130 Advance micro-drill range

Walter GB has announced the DB130 Advance as its smallest solid carbide micro-drill for diameters from 0.1 to 1.45 mm. The company says that the drill is suited to workpieces made from the ISO P, M, K, N, S and O material groups (with oils or emulsions) for sectors that include general engineering, watchmaking, automotive (components such as injector nozzles) and mould and die.

DB130 Advance drills are made using a homogeneous micro-grain carbide, a special grade that is said to enable optimum cutting edge formation in precision applications.
