Walter Titex X.treme Step 90 chamfer drills holes in one

The latest Walter Titex solid carbide X.treme Step 90 chamfer drills enable users to reliably produce drilled and threaded holes to DIN 336 Part 1 in a single operation, says Walter GB.

The X.treme Step 90 chafer drills have a 90º chamfer and are supplied in a 3.3 to 14.5 mm diameter range that also caters for fine pitch threads. Like standard X.treme drills, the X.treme Step 99 drills feature an XPL coating on an aluminium chromium nitrite base for maximum tool life. This also allows them to be used for all ISO material types. A 140º point angle and four lands support reliable spot drilling and guidance even on sloping surfaces, both when starting and exiting the hole. Versions are available with or without internal cooling.
