Walter solid carbide MD133 Supreme milling cutter is for long cutting lengths with high depths and narrow widths of cut

Tooling expert Walter GB’s MD133 Supreme solid carbide cutter is for ‘dynamic’ milling routines, particularly those involving long cutting lengths with high depths and narrow widths of cut.

With even wear characteristics over all cutting lengths, the new tool promotes reduced costs, courtesy of increased removal rates and therefore reduced machining times, as well as extended edge life, since heat is efficiently dissipated via the chips.

The MD133 range is available in diameters of 6 to 12 mm and 16 to 20 mm, and the cutters are ideal for cutting lengths of 3xD. Its chipbreaker design ensures the production of short chips even at the longest cutting lengths.

Two grades are available: WJ30RD for steel and cast iron; and WJ30RA for stainless steels and other difficult-to-machine materials.
