Vibration-free milling
TaeguTec's VFIMill milling cutter has been developed to provide vibration-free machining that will deliver higher productivity rates for rough and finish machining, and which will also improve surface finishes when machining at high metal removal rates.
An ideal productivity partner for general machine shops that are machining steel, cast iron and exotic materials, the VFI Series is coated in TaeguTec's TT9080 TiAln grade that, when combined with the unequal flute spacing, considerably improves tool life.
The 38° helix angle promotes a unique chip flow geometry that provides excellent chip evacuation and superior surface finishes. This in turn results in an excellent solution for low powered machines with DIN69871 30 - 40, BT30 - 40 and HSK 50-63A adaptations.
The VFI Series is available from 6 to 20 mm diameter in 2mm increments and it is suitable for side milling and slotting operations. For further information on the new VFI Series of tooling, please contact your local TaeguTec representative.
