Vapormatt Sabre brings wet blasting to three new markets

The Vapormatt Sabre has been developed to bring the process quality of wet blasting to three new user groups: small-to-medium volume manufacturers, coating centres and R&D facilities.

The nozzle arrangements of the Vapormatt Sabre focuses blast guns on critical faces and cutting edges, delivering consistent and controllable results, says the company. This ensures the total coverage of tools, offering edge radii within ±5 micron tolerance and a surface that improves coating adhesion. With the option to fit both Y- and X-axis nozzle arrangements, the Sabre also provides hybrid functionality, making it possible to process both round shank tools and cutting inserts in one system. The Sabre is suitable for round shank tools ranging from 3 to 30 mm in diameter and 46 to 307 mm in length. The machine's footprint is 2.34 m².
