Thame offers Lang Quick-Point multi-clamping system

Available from Thame Workholding, the Lang Quick-Point multi-clamping system is the latest addition to the company’s modular zero-point systems. It can be retrofitted to the table of almost all machine tools, offering time saving changeover of vices, fixtures and workpieces.

The mechanical, multi-clamping grid plate system allows up to four vices or fixtures per plate to be clamped and released using only one actuation screw. This makes it possible to reduce and divide set-up time by a factor of four.

The various ways to equip the machine table by aligning different sized grid plates is almost unlimited and the lates work in any orientation.

Two grid plate sizes are available having an array of four by four or two by four locations and measuring 384 by 384 mm and 192 by 384 mm respectively.
