WNT's MNG Zero Point clamping system combines accuracy with versatility

The new MNG zero point clamping system from WNT (UK) offers clamping accuracies of less than 0.01 mm and an activation system that ensures a cost-effective workholding across the entire range.

The MNG Zero Point workholding range is compatible with existing Zero Point systems and offers some distinct advantages. With a clamping pulling force of 20 kN, height tolerance of ±0.005 mm and repeatability on positional clamping of less than 0.01 mm a highly rigid, yet versatile, workholding system can be created from the standard base plate. WNT's ranges of precision vices, flat plates and tombstone-style fixture plates can be quickly and easily added to the base plate. In addition, a range of special pallets is available for less conventionally shaped components. The MNG system uses a single, 40 mm diameter pull stud, which can be mounted at the top, or bottom of the 30 mm high base plates, which in turn are hardened and ground to provide the accuracy and extreme wear resistance required of a system that provides such versatility. Each base plate is also designed to fit on the standard 50 mm grid hole pattern.
