The Talysurf i-series is suitable for shopfloor environments, relying on a low noise metrology frame, a precision manufactured datum and software datum correction to guarantee accurate and repeatable results, along with a straightness specification of less than 0.15 micron.
The Talysurf's gauge measures curved or flat surfaces for contour and surface finish, while the measurement analysis package includes least squared line, arc and polynomial form removal plus the most up-to-date filtering techniques.
Also featured is Taylor Hobson's newly developed Quick Start Technology (QST), which aids measurement speed and set-up time. QST helps the quick spot-check of parts and ensures ease of use for any operator, says the company.
