The range includes the Allmatic Titan 2 125, which comes with step jaws as a start-up for conventional clamping, although machine shops can add grip jaws for rough working. The vices can be used on either vertical or horizontal machining centres, including 5-axis models.
Also offered as part of the series is the Allmatic Duo Plus 125, a two-part clamping vice which again comes with conventional jaws to start, although users can add Allmatic’s Gripp jaws for rough or irregular workpieces/castings. The vice is suitable for materials with a strength of up to approximately 1,000 N/mm². Furthermore, width adjustment allows the clamping two workpieces of different size.
The Allmatic range also includes the Titan SC 125 vice, which comes with conventional jaws and four Gripp studs as a ‘Gripp starter’ option for £1,995.
