Sandvik Coromant introduces five-edge high feed CoroMill 419
CoroMill 419 is a five-edge high feed milling concept for roughing to semi-finishing from Sandvik Coromant. It can be used in all material groups, including stainless steel, hardened steel and titanium.
Sandvik Coromant's CoroMill 419 at applications requiring high feed face and profile milling. It can also be used for machining of components requiring long overhangs and even with lower-power machines and weak fixtures.
CoroMill 419 is equipped with strong and robust inserts that give reliable machining with five cutting edges. A wide range of grades and geometries are available. Through coolant on all cutters enables efficient wet machining and the option of compressed air cooling provides improved chip evacuation in deep cavity milling and helical interpolation.
CoroMill 419 is available from March 2013 in a 32-100 mm diameter range.
