PSL introduces Datatrack 2014
Prospec System Ltd (PSL) has introduced Datatrack 2014 production management and business administration software. Designed to deal with all management and administration steps from initial quotation through to invoice, the latest version is said to the system even more attractive for manufacturers of subcontract and make-to-order items, particularly for those in the aerospace and other high traceability sectors.
Compatible with Windows 8, the software features the newly developed CRM/Task module, a versatile sales, marketing and task management tool. The module, which can be linked specifically to PSL Datatrack data or be used to manage tasks outside of the system, incorporates the existing document management feature. Other enhancements include:
• Greater analysis of time spent on machine setting, production and downtime.
• Optional verification on drawing issue numbers to help guard against the manufacture of an old issue.
• For greater analysis, scrap codes can be defined and selected when scrap quantities are entered.
