CRM and task management added to PSL Datatrack

CRM (customer relationship management) functionality and a dedicated task management module are the latest additions to the PSL Datatrack production management and business administration system for engineering subcontractors.

PSL Datatrack says that the CRM and Task Management module offers many advantages over web-based CRM systems, which can often be too complex and labour intensive, or include irrelevant functionality.

Features of the module include a single register for customer contacts that can be shared by everyone in the company, rather than each person having their own contact information, as well as document management that enables customer and supplier correspondence to be saved.

With regard to task management, a multi-user shared 'to do' list is provided that can be used to define any non-production administration or management tasks. These can include tasks such as machine maintenance, cutting oil trials, stocktaking, update of ISO procedures and staff performance reviews.
