One-hit machining on Hyundai-Wia L2600SY from Ward CNC
Complete with a Y-axis and the ability to produce complex parts in a single set-up, the L2600SY multi-task turning centre is the latest addition to the portfolio of Hyundai-Wia lathes available from exclusive UK distributor, T W Ward CNC Machinery (Ward CNC).
Of 30° slant bed construction – and with box guideways – the L2600SY is an 81 mm bar capacity machine with a 22/18.5 kW spindle motor that produces spindle speeds of 4,000 rpm (main – 10" chuck) and 6,000 rpm (sub – 6" chuck). The machine has a maximum turning diameter and length of 420 and 750 mm respectively, and features a Fanuc CNC.
