Currently, there are two models available: the ONA AV25 with X,Y,Z travels of 400 by 300 by 250 mm; and the ONA AV35 with 600 by 400 by 400 mm travels. Both models have U-V travels of 120 by 120 mm.

Available in the UK from Warwick Machine Tools, the latest range of ONA AV ‘premium’ wire EDM machines offers advances that include: a CNC system that can control up to eight axes simultaneously, has CADCAM incorporated and boasts a 21.5-in touch-screen; a generator that can deliver surface finishes to the order of Ra 0.1; an automatic threader that can handle fine wires of up to 70 micron; corner and profile control systems; linear scales with a resolution of 0.1 micron; a protection system able to detect impacts of just 0.8 kg (8 N); and an energy management system.
