NCL sees improvements to machine simulation/verification

NCL multi-axis machining software has been enhanced with features designed to significantly improve machine simulation and verification. * Both NCL and NCL/IPV now support tool motion verification using a Machine Control Data (MCD) file as input. This improved way of generating tool paths can make a considerable difference in the part quality, and enables the machine to run more efficiently. * Using NCCS’ PTED routine, the MCD file is automatically reverse post-processed, creating a machine simulation file that is read in as input to the verification routine. Among the main advantages of machining simulation is the ability to save time by simulating complex programs before they are sent to the machine.
