With VXmodel, a simple click of a button means users can now transfer data directly to Autodesk Inventor, streamlining the reverse engineering process for users of this CAD software. The latest VXmodel also offers algorithm optimisation, whereby mesh files can be combined, with or without textures, and with different resolutions—regardless of by which device they were generated.
Major enhancements in VXinspect include STL-STL comparisons, which enable the enhanced alignment and comparison of two meshes, along with a direct transfer of data from VXmodel to VXinspect. There are also major workflow improvements, cross-section entities and increased quality control functions.
