Mastercam and Unigraphics/NX data exchange with UG Read

Mastercam users can now open native Unigraphics/NX part or assembly files without a Unigraphics/NX license requirement, using UG Read. With UG Read it is also possible to import Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) data, such as properties, datums, dimensions, notes, geometric tolerances and datum targets.
UG Read eliminates the need to translate native Unigraphics/NX part files through an intermediary file format such as IGES, STEP, or Parasolids.
The features and benefits of UG Read include: reliable geometry import; full integration with Mastercam File Open menu; fast reading of part files; displaying of part properties; mapping assembly parts to levels; supporting layers to levels, as well as layer and geometry names.
