Manufactured by Magafor, the spotting drills support the company’s micro-carbide drills from 0.2 to 2.0 mm, in increments of 0.05 mm, to support spotting and countersinking in a single operation.
The shank is 3 mm in diameter throughout the range, and this is combined with a choice of carbide that comes with or without a Hard’X PVD hard surface multi-layer coating. The accurate grinding of the drill point and optimised cutting angle minimises the risk of deviation and ensures a clean cut with a good surface finish, says Toolex.
In common with the entire Toolex range, the micro-spotting drills are available from stock for same working-day despatch of orders received before 16:00.
