LVD incorporates Energy Reduction System
LVD now incorporates an Energy Reduction System (ERS) into its VX punch presses and PPEC press brakes.
ERS manages power consumption through the day during machine operation, standby and idle times - reducing energy consumption by 15 to 30% over previous generation machines.
Strippit VX-Series punch press and PPEC series press brakes featuring ERS are claimed to be some of the lowest energy consuming machines in their class.
LVD say the introduction of ERS demonstrates its green initiative to engineer and manufacture energy-efficient equipment.
User benefits include reduced energy costs, reduced carbon footprint and possible zone, national or local subsidies for electrical efficiency.
