Losma introduces Extra range of inclined bed coolant filters

Losma has launched two coolant filtration lines with inclined beds: the Extra and Extra High models. The ranges differ from previous series, due to their their modern and functional design, as well as in numerous technical improvements that allow for more simpler and intuitive operation. The Extra High range boasts double filtration, allowing it to treat larger volumes of liquid in reduced spaces.

Extra and Extra High are available in 11 models, with a filtration capacity ranging from 100 to 600 l/min for emulsion and from 50 to 300 l/min for neat oil.

The filtration process is as follows: contaminated coolant is conveyed on to the trough and distributed on the filter fabric, which in turn withholds the pollutant particles and allows the down-flow of clean coolant into a tank located below. The clean emulsion or oil is then returned to the machine using a pump.
