The range of Titex Paradur HT taps available from Walter GB has been extended with longer versions in sizes up to M36 to tackle even deeper holes at up to four times diameter.
With axial internal cooling, the TiN-coated Paradur HT ensures process-secure machining of steels as well as short-chipping cast iron, AlSi and CU alloys. Due to the tool’s special flute geometry (3° rake angle), chips are shortened and carried out of the thread by the internal coolant.
The extra-long chip flutes and increased flank relief enable perfect chip transportation even in threads in high strength steels. Also, with TiN coating, the tool has a long life at higher cutting speeds.
