Keyence offers 16,000 Hz sampling rate LS-9000 optical micromet
Keyence uses a high speed exposure CMOS and high intensity green-LED method instead of laser scanning in its high speed LS-9000 series optical micrometer. The elimination of moving parts also gives the model greater durability.
The Keyence LS-9000 has achieved a sampling rate of 16,000 Hz and it can even measure fast-moving targets accurately at narrow pitches. Using high speed exposure CMOS, reliable image capture and stable measurement are possible even when targets are vibrating. The Monitor CMOS cancels errors arising from tilted targets.
The LED light source is less affected by electrical noise, so it can be used in shopfloor environments for longer periods.
An ultra-fine diameter/gap tool ensures reliable measurement of wires 10 µm in diameter.
