“Previous entry-level machines have, in the main, been developed for the hobbyist or educational markets,” says sales director Craig Walsh. “However, with the Plasmaster, target applications range from those wanting to cut thin materials such as ductwork, right through to heavier duty fabricators needing to cut thicker materials."
The bed of the Plasmaster machine consists of a substantial plate support system that contains individual dross bins that can be easily accessed to remove waste material. The system is capable of supporting a plate size of 3 by 1.5 m, and up to 25 mm thick. Kerf designed the base to be free standing and not connected to the machine frame, thus eliminating any potential shock loading issues.
