Kennametal’s NOVO 1.3 offers cloud connectivity
The latest version 1.3 of NOVO from Kennametal, a digital tool selector and process planner, can connect via the cloud to tool management, e-commerce and other shop systems. According to Kennametal, this reduces data errors and makes non-value-added data transfer efforts a thing of the past.
NOVO 1.3 has added connectivity to e-commerce and integration to the ToolBoss tool management system via the cloud. Specifically, NOVO users can now request a price quote from their Kennametal distributor by transferring their shopping cart list to them via the 'Request Quote' button. The distributor will receive a notification with complete details of the items and request to respond. Furthermore, ToolBoss users on the cloud with the latest software version can now use NOVO to see if an item proposed for a process plan is already available in their ToolBoss inventory, making both plans and budgets more efficient.
