Kaltenbach showcases latest products at in-house event

Kaltenbach showcased its latest sawing and related technologies at a recent trade event at its headquarters in Lörrach, Southern Germany

Demonstrations included one featuring its KBS1301 high performance heavy duty structural steel bandsaw with the KDL 1318, a 3-axis drill with six tools per axis and auto-changer, as an automatic saw/drill combination. It has a material capacity of 1,300 mm wide by 500 mm high but company also announced an even larger capacity combination of a KDL 2118 drilling machine for the processing of material of 2,100 by 700 mm with a KBS2101 DG bandsaw. Among the latest KKS circular blade universal saws was the KKS400T, for precision straight and mitre sawing of steels and alloys, specifically adapted for the fast, efficient sawing of preformed exhaust tube for the automotive sector. Kaltenbach also unveiled a twin-headed plasma plate processing centre, the KF2616, and the latest KC1201 coping robot.
