Kaltenbach will hold an Open House at its Bedford HQ on 10-12 November.

The Bedford event will provide hands-on demonstrations of some completely new sawing technology, showing for the first time in the UK. Included is the UK launch of the first billet saw of it's type, an MSK 471 NA; a high performance, circular blade saw for ultra-fast, accurate, straight sawing of general purpose and particularly hard, difficult-to-cut metals of up to 152 mm diameter. Key features include the processing of minimal cut-off lengths, short cycle times and an extremely flexible, fully automated sorting feature. In-feed magazine options include, flat and bundle types. The new generation of Behringer HBV production bandsaws, offering all the cutting advantages of sawing with a carbide blade, will have its UK début demonstration at the event. With completely new styling, HBV models provide general purpose, high-performance, straight-cutting capacity of up to 510 mm diam or 500 by 500 mm flat, and provide good value performance and cost-per-cut technology for a general mix of materials from the exotic to regular steels, incorporating many sophisticated features as standard. On sale at the Bedford event will be a mix of Kaltenbach's 'factory reconditioned' back-to-new, used machines, for which demand has always outstripped supply. Kaltenbach factory reconditioned saws provide value for money, achieving an as-new machine at a fraction of a new machines cost, especially attractive to customers in the present financially challenging climate. The event will also be supported by Harrison Saw and Tool, who will provide advice and live demonstrations on the latest blade technology.
