Hypertherm plans to demonstrate latest technologies at Schweissen & Schneiden 2013

Advanced cutting systems manufacturer Hypertherm's complete Powermax family will be displayed at Schweissen & Schneiden 2013, including a plasma cutting and gouging system that will be making its global debut.

At this joining, cutting and surfacing show to be run in Essen from 16-21 September, Hypertherm will also demonstrate the latest True Bevel, Rapid Part and True Hole capabilities of its HyPerformance HPRXD product line. True Bevel technology for HPRXD plasma systems is a performance application for mild steel that simplifies the bevel-cutting process. Parameter values for several processes are available. Output values for angle compensation, kerf, cut height, cut speed and arc voltage are set, which makes set-up for new jobs fast and results accurate. With Rapid Part technology, Hypertherm products integrate seamlessly without operator intervention. Motion optimisation techniques are programmed into the part program and are automatically executed by the CNC. Also without operator intervention, True Hole cutting technology for mild steel automatically produces significantly better hole quality than has been previously possible using plasma. Hypertherm will also demonstrate Accustream waterjet cutting products for the first time since its acquisition of the manufacturer in early 2013. Also to be featured on the stand are Hypertherm's HyIntensity Fibre Laser systems, its complete CAM nesting software line, automation products as well as torch and consumable technologies from Hypertherm and its Centricut brand.
