Hexagon TIGO SF brings high-end measurement to the shop floor

The TIGO SF from Hexagon Metrology is a compact 3D co-ordinate measuring machine designed for use on the shop floor. With a measuring volume of 500 x 580 x 500 mm, several features are incorporated to ensure that measurements are accurate, even in the demanding conditions of the factory. For instance, enhanced structural thermal compensation allows measurements in a temperature range from 15 to 30°C, while passive dampers protect the machine from vibration (for even greater protection, active dampers are also available). Additionally, the machine is equipped with covers and bellows to prevent the contamination of moving parts.

TIGO SF comes standard with the LSP-X1c probe sensor to support scanning and point-to-point measurements. Alternatively, the machine can be equipped with the indexable TesaStar-m probe head, which reaches over 3,000 different positions to allow measurement of features without using complex star styli configurations or rotary tables.
