Heidenhain expands ATEX rotary encoder range
Heidenhain (GB) has announced an updated range of rotary encoders for potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX). Both incremental (TTL, HTL, 1Vpp) and absolute single- and multi-turn (EnDat 2.2) types are now available in standard 58 mm diameter bodies.
Featuring appropriate flameproof enclosure/protection by IP66 ratings, and supplied with either clamping or synchro flange, the ERN, ECN, EQN, ROD, ROC and ROQ rotary encoders offer line counts from 512 to 5,000 and accuracies of ±60 to ±20 arc/sec, depending on type.
