Hardinge Conquest H51 from ETG delivers user choices

The Hardinge Conquest H51 turning centre gives customers the option of purchasing either a high precision (HP) machine or, for those requiring sustained 0.5 micron surface finishes, a Super Precision (SP) specification.

Hardinge has named the high precision H51 the 'ultimate bar machine' as it features a 20 hp, 5,000 rpm main spindle with a 50.8 mm bar capacity. It offers a maximum turning diameter of 312 mm and a maximum turning length of 64.7 cm, while the 12-station turret offers a ½ station index for up to 24 tools. The machine offers a variety of standard features, such as through-tool coolant, bar feed and chip conveyor interfaces, three-position stack light, memory card, rigid tapping and machine crash protection. It is offered in a number of configurations, with add-ons including a tailstock, live tooling, sub-spindle and Y-axis.
