Hainbuch introduces Jaw Module

For production engineers needing a full through-bore collet chuck that can be changed to a chucking device that clamps billets in less than 2 minutes with no radial adjustment, Hainbuch says its Jaw Module ticks all the boxes. If required, clamping heads or mandrels can also be used to extend system flexibility.

The Jaw Module can be used with a Hainbuch chuck or stationary chuck and offers an enlarged clamping range via its base clamping device. Furthermore, the Jaw Module makes it possible to machine between the jaws when milling or drilling, as well as the potential to be used for both rotating and stationary applications.

The size 145 Jaw Module offers a clamping range from 25 to 115 mm, while the size 215 module provides a clamping range from 25 to 195 mm. In addition, the system can be used as a pick-up chuck on sub-spindles.
