Hainbuch introduces a small flexible jaw to its modular workholding range
Hainbuch's latest small flexible jaw module can convert a standard Hainbuch collet-style chuck to a jaw chuck in less than one minute, says the company. Mandrels and clamping heads can also be used in the base collet chuck.
The Hainbuch jaw module offers a 3 in 1 combination of ID clamping, OD clamping (collet), and jaw clamping. A collet style chuck and the smaller profile, lighter jaw module assists the efficiency of spindle acceleration and deceleration and puts less strain on the spindle bearings.
This addition to the Hainbuch range means that it is no longer necessary to changeover from bar work to chuck work or inside clamping. Changeovers can be completed without radial adjustment.
Hainbuch modular solutions enable an appropriate clamping solution to be selected for a clamping range of up to 200 mm.
