Guhring RF 100 A milling cutters boosts machining feedrates
The Guhring RF 100 A milling cutters for high performance machining of aluminium have been give the company's Nano-polishing process for an extremely smooth surface finish. This enables up to 25% higher feedrates to be achieved, says Guhring, while also improving tool life.
A cross centre face cutting geometry permits drilling, plunging or ramping operations with a near constant rate of feed. The novel flute form, combined with an unequal helix angle of 39º / 40º / 41º, is designed to provide optimal chip evacuation with vibration-free operation.
