HEM 700U machines are equipped with a 20 kW/12,000 rpm ISO/BT40 inline spindle (36 kW/60,000 rpm HSK A63 motor spindle option), while a closed internal cooling circuit stabilises spindle temperature and reduces temperature-related drift.
The machines feature a 30-position drum-type ATC that boasts 2 sec chip-to-chip changeover time. Optionally, the machines can also be supplied with a 60-position chain-type toolchanger.
A 630 mm diameter rotary/tilting trunnion-supported table delivers +65/-110° B-axis tilt and 360° C-axis rotation. HEM 700U machines can be supplied with a fixed table or 5- or 7-station automatic pallet change capability.
