Foba introduces latest M200-B/P and M3000-B/P laser marking workstations

Foba M-Series M2000-B/P and M3000-B/P compact flexible laser marking workstations are based on a rigid polymer concrete machine frame and designed for the precise and quick processing of geometrically complex workpieces of varying sizes as well as small and large batches of parts.

Foba M series machine benefit from high precision calibration and users can automatically detect the position of workpieces to be processed with the company's patented intelligent mark positioning camera system (IMP). The mark result can also be verified in terms of quality and position. Foba M2000 and M3000 units are available in two housing sizes in three model options. The M2000-B and M3000-B entry-level models feature a worktable and are equipped with a programmable Z-axis with 590 mm overall travel distance and an electric lift door. The manually loaded general purpose machine is suitable for marking both small and larger parts. A rotation/swivelling unit is available as an option for marking on the circumference of cylindrical parts. M2000-P and M3000-P models are equipped with three (XYZ) programmable axes as standard and different positions on a workpiece can be travelled to in three dimensions. If required, all P machines can also be equipped for 5-axis capability. With manoeuvrable (100 mm/s speed) axes, the M2000-P and M3000-P laser stations are suitable for processing of large and small batches of parts in pallets, and in batch fabrication. Furthermore, both models are also suitable for marking larger parts where marking positions are more difficult to reach or where marks have to be applied at several positions. The two-station turntable R model rounds off the series. Various laser systems, as well as flexible and easily retrofitted options and accessories, both in terms of hardware and software, can be tailored to the customer's requirements.
