The toolholder of the W&F Micro range remains in the machine while the head is removed with a single screw. Furthermore, there’s a patented cylindrical stabiliser design that is said to permit precise and fast insert changes.
The interchangeable heads are available in various types for general turning, facing, profiling, parting and internal profiling and boring operations. In addition, the head designs are available in left- and right-hand formats with through-coolant available upon request. The tools are suitable for all types of turning application, regardless of whether they are performed on a Swiss-type machine, multi-spindle lathe or general turning centre.
