Feeler offers Feeler TC 20 alpha drilling and tapping centre developed for Asian market

Feeler's advanced TC 20 alpha drilling and tapping centre is suitable for fast, light machining of aluminium and steel castings, and diecastings. UK agent Engineering Technology says it is capable of challenging leading brands in terms of performance, while benefiting from a price tag reflecting the demands of a vast Asian market of smart phone, tablet and digital camera consumer goods manufacturers.

The TC 20 alpha has a capacity of up to 510 mm in X and its 20,000 rpm direct-drive 7.2 kW spindle provides very fast spindle acceleration, 1.2 g axis accelerations and axis travel speeds of 50 m/min. The machine also offers a 3,000 rpm minimum spindle speed for rigid tapping. The 1,600 by 2,265 mm footprint machine has 600 by 400 mm, 250 kg load capacity table, an XYZ working envelope of 510 by 400 by 300 mm and a 21-tool magazine.
