Face mill cuts cast iron
CoroMill 345, the new generation 45º face mill designed for high performance machining in steel and stainless steel, now benefits from a full insert range for cast iron and a new geometry for finishing steel. Cylindrical and Weldon shank cutters are also released.
The tool combines market-leading performance with light cutting action. Inserts with eight cutting edges provide unrivalled economy and now makes CoroMill 345 suitable for machining operations that range from demanding roughing through to mirror-finishing applications. The face mill optimizes processes performed on a variety of machine tools, with cutters available in diameters ranging from 40 mm up to 250 mm.
