Enclosed plasma cutting centre cuts noise too

With ESAB Cutting Systems’ high precision Autorex cutting centre, the entire plasma cutting area, together with machine portal and cutting torches, are sealed from the working environment in production cells to reduce noise. An automatic shuttle table loads the metal plate to be cut and continuous material replenishment ensures production rates are maintained. By enclosing the plasma cutting operations, noise levels drop from the normal level of 100 dBA level to 75 dBA, lower than the usual limit values of noise control regulations. No additional noise control measures have to be taken.
