Emco Hyperturn 65 DT-1000 available from HK Technologies
Emco Maier has released its Hyperturn 65 DT-1000 range of turn-mill centres. The machines feature two spindles and two turrets for processing bar parts up to a diameter of 95 mm and chuck parts up to 250 mm in diameter.
The two spindles and two turrets are standard features. Alternatively, users can opt for a second Y-axis, which opens up more processing options. The most important options are the liquid-cooled, direct drive BMT turret, the big bore spindle, an NC steady and an NC tailstock.
Integrated, liquid-cooled spindle motors support a speed range from 0 to 5,000 rpm, while the main and counter-spindles offer output of 29 kW and torque of 250 Nm.
Each of the two tool systems can accommodate 12 stationary or driven milling or drilling heads with DIN quick-change systems. The basic configuration is rounded off by an automatic workpiece pick-up device.
