Elumatec SBZ 137 offers versatile profile machining
Elumatec has unveiled its SBZ 137, a compact 4-axis machining centre for aluminium and PVC profiles.

To aid ergonomics, the SBZ 137 features a machine table that is tilted 30° towards the operator. As a result, the machine can be loaded from an upright position, thus reducing potential back strain. Another advantage of the inclined bed is that it gives the operator a clear view of the SBZ 137 in all machining positions.
Cycle times are said to be shortened, thanks to the machine's ring module, which can run at a speed of up to 150 m/min on the machine bed for profile machining. The increased speed comes from the very small safety gap that reduces travel distances.
For ease of cleaning, swarf falls from the SBZ 137's inclined table and can be carried away by an optional conveyor.
