DMG/Mori Seiki DMC 65 monoBLOCK gets turning capability - DMC 65 FD monoBLOCK unveiled
DMG/Mori Seiki is now offering the DMC 65 monoBLOCK vertical machining centre in a version that has turning capability – the DMC 65 FD monoBLOCK.
DMC series machines feature a total of three integrated pallets that each have a capacity of 500 kg and can accommodate workpieces measuring 630 mm in diameter and 500 mm in height.
The C-axis of the FD table has a speed of up to 1,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm.
The 18,000 rpm, 35 kW and 111 Nm motor spindle is also part of the FD package.
A small footprint of 16.5 sq m takes in both the machining centre and the pallet changer.
