HandyProbe Next’s wireless probe enables the instant capture of co-ordinates, while another advantage is that the device can have its measurement volume easily extended. According to Creaform, this is in contrast to measuring arms, which require conventional ‘leapfrogging’.
The HandyProbeNext system has the ability to perform real-time referencing of its scanning and probing devices, as well as on targets of the object being inspected. In addition, the C-Track optical tracker and wireless probe can be moved at any time during the measurement sequence.
