Designed for a payload of 7 kg, Racer 999 exhibits the physiognomy of a human muscle but takes the geometric shape of a robot. The lines of the machine offer a dynamism that Comau says comes to life in the wave that characterises the casing of the wrist; the curves are related directly to the speed with which the trajectory points are met.
In addition to the base of the robot, which has been designed to deliver stability, Racer 999 can count on E-motion software to optimise movements and reduce cycle times by up to 25%, compared to the previous generation robot.
