Cadman-Job groups jobs to maximise productivity

LVD has expanded its Cadman suite of offline software products to include Cadman-Job. This organises and schedules the fabrication shop workload, classifying and grouping jobs to increase throughput, minimise set-up time and streamline workflow.

Cadman-Job manages the day-to-day relationship between a user's ERP system, CAM and workshop to optimise machine production time and fabrication resources. The software creates or imports work orders from an ERP system, generates jobs for bending, punching or laser cutting, minimising tool/turret set-up, lens/nozzle change. Cadman-Job also tracks the progress of each work order, provides estimated and real production time information, and generates lists to launch any re-work necessary. Cadman-Job is an extension of LVD's PC-based Cadman offline software and operates on a Windows platform. Cadman is designed to streamline the fabricating process through a single, complete offline system for the design, unfolding, punching, laser cutting and bending of sheet metal parts.
