The Xpert 40's lightweight design delivers high levels of dynamics at bending speeds of up to 25 mm/sec. This means that it can bend small parts three times faster than larger press brake models, according to the company.
On bending lengths exceeding 1 m, the Xpert 40 generates a press capacity of 40 tons. Bystronic's newly developed ByMotion drive control system ensures a finely tuned interplay between speed, precision and power, it is claimed.
By co-ordinating the acceleration of the upper beam and the back gauges, Bystronic says that bending results having the highest degree of repetition accuracy are delivered.
