Bowers launches Sylvac D70 series of digital displays

Bowers is launching the Sylvac D70 series of digital displays. This includes the D70S, designed for use with capacitive probes, the D70I for use with Sylvac inductive probes (also compatible with Tesa, Mahr and Peter Hirt probes) and the D70H for Heidenhain Spectro/Metro probes, plus Mitutoyo and Magescale probes used with an adapter.

All Sylvac D70 versions have two probe inputs that provide probing combinations, high resolution 4.3-inch touchscreen operation and the option of a simple user display or double display with an additional analogue bar graph. Depending on the application, a display resolution can be selected up to 0.0001 mm. In addition to direct measurement, D70 series units have formula functions and tolerance indications and are able to display the displacement of features such as Min, Max, Average, Max-Min. D70 units benefit from a robust aluminium construction for shopfloor use and are IP 40 rated. The units' features are accessed by a user-friendly interface and, if required, USB connection allows the transfer of data to PCs, printers, etc.
