The basic SwissClamp module is suitable for two kinds of clamping principle: Grip clamping and Finish clamping. The difference between the two principles is the chuck. While the Grip chuck is designed for pull-down clamping, the Finish jaws achieve parallel clamping. The result is a non-rotating, precise, parallel clamping that prevents indentations, says Avon CNC.
