Automatic non-contact circular parts measuring system from Doss

Using the Doss MIGG, the article code for each required part is entered and created on the system, complete with description and relative tolerances, or the user re-calls an existing article code already set up on the computer. All of the data relative to that article code is then displayed on the main page of the computer screen. The user simply places the items onto the rotating glass table of the system and measuring is carried out automatically. The results are shown in different colours: green for part within tolerance; red for part out of tolerance. An acoustic alarm also sounds when a part is out of tolerance. The Doss MIGG machine can measure circular parts with a minimum inner diameter of 10 mm, and maximum outer diameter of 450 mm. A larger Doss MIGG 1500 machine can measure circular parts with a minimum inner diameter of 250 mm and maximum outer diameter of 1,500 mm.
