Algra static toolholders extend DMG/Mori Seiki NL tool capacity
YMT Technologies is offering Algra static toolholders for the DMG/Mori Seiki NL range of CNC universal turning centres. The range, developed and manufactured in Italy, includes single and double toolholders to extend the standard number of tools available on the turret, increasing the flexibility of the machine tool.
Single toolholders accept 25 mm shank tools and include units for left- or right-hand coolant supply through the holder body. Double units can be specified with two single tool locations or two, twin 25 mm tooling locations with individual coolant supply, providing four cutting tool options from a single tool turret station. As well as double parting-off toolholders, single 40 mm diameter and double 32 mm diameter boring bar holders are available.
All these toolholders are produced from C45 medium-carbon high grade steel finished with a durable black coating that is resistant to commercial neat cutting oils and water miscible coolants.
